Starting in London
Street marketing for apps. Paid per download.
Book people who go out and tell others about your app, face to face. You pay only for first-time downloads, and the App Store does the counting.
For startups
Book people, not ads.
Real conversations with real people, and you only pay when one ends in a download.
-
01
Book
Set a budget and see how many downloads it buys, pick where and when or leave it open, and write a short brief on how to talk about your app.
-
02
They go out
A marketer takes the booking and shows people a code that is theirs alone. One scan and they are on your App Store page.
-
03
Pay per download
You pay for each first-time download through that code, as counted by the App Store. When the budget is spent, the booking ends.
-
04
Rate them
Once the numbers are in, you rate the marketer out of five, the way you would rate a ride.
For marketers
Get paid for every download you bring in.
Pick the bookings that suit you, talk to people, and earn the same price for every download, however many you get.
-
01
Pick a booking
See the app, the area and the rate per download before you say yes.
-
02
Talk to people
Tell them about the app and show your code. They scan it and download.
-
03
Get paid
Every first-time download through your code is yours, with no cap on how many.
-
04
Build your rating
Startups rate you after each booking. A good rating brings more bookings.

How downloads are counted
Counted by the App Store, not by us.
Scan
Someone scans the marketer's code.
App Store
It opens the app's own App Store page.
Download
They download it for the first time within 24 hours.
Counted
Apple counts it for that marketer's link.
Paid
The marketer is paid and the startup rates them.
- One link per marketer, per booking
- So every download has exactly one owner.
- First-time downloads only
- Reinstalling on the same Apple account does not count again.
- The same numbers on both sides
- The startup sees every count in its own App Store Connect.
- A day or so to come in
- Apple's numbers arrive at least a day later, and payouts follow them.
Fees
For now, we make nothing on a booking.
As you book, you see the rate per download and how many downloads your budget buys. Our fee is exactly what the card payment and the payouts cost. Everything else goes to the marketers.
Questions
Which apps can be booked?
Any app on the App Store, to start with.
Where does it run?
London first. A booking can be for one area, or anywhere in the city.
How do you see the downloads?
The startup gives us read-only access to its App Store analytics, so we see the same numbers it does.
Is there a limit on downloads?
No. A booking runs until its budget is spent or its time is up.
What stops fake downloads?
Only first-time downloads count, and only within 24 hours of a scan. Startups rate every marketer, and a low rating means fewer bookings.
When do marketers get paid?
Once Apple's numbers for the booking are in, which takes at least a day.
Who is behind this?
Two brothers in London who started out telling people about their own app on the street.
